Aisa Lafour is an award winning professional bellydancer, instructor and event organiser.  She is a sought after bellydance artist, known for her sensual elegance, emotion transmission through movement, strong technique and her relation to the music and the public. 

She started bellydancing at the age of five. Inspired and taught by Shahrazad (Germany) and Aziza (Netherlands). She never stopped studying dance, and experimented with a lot of dance styles. She was even a successful Latin and Brazilian dancer, who travelled around the world to teach and perform, but at a certain moment she decided to dedicate her life to her first dance love: The ART of the dance from the middle east, Oriental bellydance (also known as Raks Sharki).

Since 2006 Aisa is a diplomated teacher of dance in general, and specialized in Oriental bellydance and Latin/Brazilian dances.

Currently Aisa is an international bellydance teacher and performer herself, and runs her own Amsterdam based Bellydance school in coöporation with the brazilian danceschool ZoukLovers.

As bellydance was the first dance she did in her life, Aisa never stopped taking classes.  Always travelling to Egypt, the middle east and Europe to deepen her knowledge of dance. She studied with famous teachers like: Shahrazad, Dina, Randa Kamel, Sorraya, Amir Taleb, Raqia Hassan, Jillina, Bozenka, Mona Said, Tito, Gamal Seif, Hassan Khalil, Aziza,  Orit Matsfir, Mahdy Emara, Hassan Afifi  and many more.

As a solo artist she performs at festivals, theatres, television, music video clips and parties, international and national. Countries where she has performed and taught are: Spain, Belgium,  Brazil, England, Germany, Poland, Russia, Hungary, Morocco, Egypt and the US.

In 2008 Aisa was the nr 1 winner of the contest ” Bellydancer of the world 2008″ organized by Leila Jouvana. In 2008 she and Shahrazad organized a big theatre show ” Cosmic Bellydance show”.  Aisa is part of the starcast (solo and chorus) of Jillina’s successful Bellydance Evolution show in 2009 and 2010. She also had the honor to do the official casting for Bellydance Evolution Europe in Spain. Aisa is the founder of the Oriental dance troupe: Amarin Bellydance. She has shared stages with famous dancers like Jillina, Ansuya, Keishi, Elisabeth strong, Ava Flaming, Mardi Love, Sharon Kihara, Leyla Jouvana, Randa Kamel, Tito, Shahrazad and many more. She (in cooporation with ZoukLovers) is the Organiser of the Orientalicious parties and congress in Amsterdam.
